Jamies Italian in Moscow is just one of 40 restaurants under the same name worldwide. This chain of high quality Italian restaurants is the brain child of star British chef Jamie Oliver and the success of these restaurants is a testament to the great food that is served on a consistent basis.

You will find the Moscow branch of Jamies Italian on the second floor of the shopping mall which shares the Four Seasons Hotel building. You enter the shopping mall on the other side of the building to the hotel lobby. The escalator is directly in front of you and Jamies Italian is located immediately to your right as you reach the top. Being right on Red Square and almost directly opposite the Bolshoi Theatre, Jamies Italian is a great place to have a pre or post show dinner.

The restaurant is a relaxed affair, keeping with the ethos of affordable, quality family style Italian cooking. While the menu items are not what you would call cheap, given the area and the quality of the food, I consider Jamies Italian in Moscow to be very good value. You can see the menu for yourself here.  As an indication, on a recent outing with my wife we had two mains, drinks and a desert and coffee to finish for approximately 3000RUB. If you were to order a bottle of wine however you could expect a much heftier bill!

If you are squeezing in a meal at Jamies before a show, rest assured that your food will arrive promptly. The servers are usually quite rushed, but attentive nonetheless and you will should be waiting no more than 20mins or so for your meal. Although they do aim for a relaxed dining experience, it is advisable to book in advance, especially on weekends. The restaurant is quite large, but they get so busy that without a reservation you may not get a table.
